Veterinary Cancer Guidelines and Protocols

The goal of the website and the mission of VCGP is to improve care for pets with cancer through standardization of tumor evaluation and reporting. There are no published guidelines for the methods of the common parameters used by veterinary pathologists. This website is designed to address this need. VCGP created these guidelines and protocols as centralized resources for veterinary anatomic and clinical pathologists to assist in reporting and gathering relevant information about aggressive tumors. It is a living document that will be updated and is a continuation of manuscripts published in Veterinary Pathology in 2011 and 2021.
